I came in, stood at the counter, took a number and ordered takeout. The food is good. The girl at the counter piled my plastic container with food. This was my first time patronizing this place. She was nice. This was Saturday afternoon 2/24/24. Food was hot. So hot that by the time I got home in the frigid temperature outside it was still warm. I was prepared to reheat using the microwave. No need. I'll definitely be back.
Every time I go to El Valle its a hit! The food is always packed with flavor and fresh. Best chicken in the area! The pizza next door as well is super good and crispy nothing like a nice thin crispy slice and I'm always treated nicely upon entering, very hospitable and attentive of their clients needs.
I was so impressed with the expansion! Wow! I always used to order for takeout but the new dining area is beautiful, cozy and very comfortable. The food, as always, was delicious. It is my go to spot when I'm craving Dominican cuisine. The music is great and the service top-notch. I recommend!
I was excited to try the chicken soup at Monfongo Del Valle, and I must say, I was not disappointed. The soup was full of flavor and the chicken was incredibly tender. I could taste the richness of the broth with each spoonful. The vegetables added a nice touch and were perfectly cooked. The portion size was generous and I added a dash of hot sauce. Just wonderful.
The food is always pretty good here. I've been coming to this place for over 10 years. The service is a bit unorganized but it seems to work for them.
